Alamat,
Likha
at Katha.
That’s a wrap. Salamat for drawing with us.
Our first anniversary, drawn from Philippine myth — three stations, Lakapati, Sitan and Bathala, three live models, and a room full of people drawing together. Thank you to everyone who came, posed, helped and laid out their work.
salamat.
Alamat, Likha
at Katha
Kyusi Sunday Sketchers turned one. We marked it the way we started: a themed live drawing session and a room full of people drawing together — this time across three stations drawn from Philippine myth.
Salamat
To our models
Lakapati, Sitan and Bathala — thank you for the costumes, the patience and the poses. By KSS tradition, each of you took home one artwork from every artist.
To the sketchers
Thank you for showing up, drawing through every rotation, and making our first anniversary feel like a community.
Were you there?
Tell us how it went. The survey is anonymous and takes a few minutes — it shapes the next session.

The Stations
Three stations ran at once, each with its own costumed model, and small colour groups rotated through so everyone drew every model.
House Rules
KSS is a life drawing session, not an art workshop. These keep it fun, respectful and safe for everyone, models included.
Model safety & consent
Model safety comes first. Always. A model who feels uncomfortable can stop or end the session. Specific pose requests need the model's explicit consent, and pose pegs go through Instagram. We recommend at least 3 minutes per pose. Artists are free to leave at any time, for any reason.
No unwanted contact
Ask for consent before any physical contact, including hugs.
A safe space
KSS is a space for self-identifying LGBTQ+ people, regardless of gender identity, trans status, queer expression, race, or background. We have zero tolerance for sexual harassment or discriminatory behaviour. Please don't make assumptions about anyone's identity or pronouns.
Nude sessions — 18+ only
Any station or session with nude figure drawing is strictly limited to confirmed participants aged 18 and above.
During the session
Keep conversations and movement quiet while people are sketching, especially during longer poses. Socialise during breaks.

More than sketches.
A creative community.
Kyusi Sunday Sketchers is a non-profit built by artists for artists, creating space, support, and opportunities for the creative community. We're a drawing group in Quezon City, one year old as of October 2026. Announcements, the registration link and model reveals all go out on our newsletter and Instagram first.
